Taiga Maps is a free map navigator for canoe routes, portages, hiking and ski trails, and it works without a signal. Load the maps you trust, see where you are on them, and record where you go.

Your maps

Import GeoTIFF, GeoPDF, Garmin and Google Earth KMZ, and MBTiles, or download Canada's 1:50,000 topographic sheets.

Works offline

Once a map is on your phone it needs no connection. Save areas of the web maps for trips out of range.

Record your trips

Track, distance and elevation from the barometer, with the screen off. Export as GPX.

Measure and navigate

Measure along trails, roads and rivers, and navigate to a waypoint, north-up or forward-up.
